Ifeoma is the founder and CEO of The STAR Women’s Network Inc. (formerly, Network for the Empowerment of Women), Host of Power Your Story Podcast, Owner Matella Event Concepts, and Publisher of WSTAR International Women’s Magazine (formerly, Rise and Lead Women’s Magazine) and an appointed Global Ambassador of The Centre for Women and Gender Studies, Imo State University, Nigeria.
Ifeoma’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management, Certificate in Women in Leadership, and pursuing her master’s degree in Public Relations.

She believes in people’s ability to reach their highest potential if they start by believing in themselves and committing to try. Ifeoma is devoted to empowering and helping women discover their innate potentials and turn their passions into profitable business ventures. She created and hosted the first-ever Virtual Halifax Black Female Business Showcase attracting Federal and Provincial elected officials, Trade Commissioners, Business and Community Leaders, and business owners across Canada to network, share ideas and explore ways to keep their businesses running, creating a sustainable flow of income during the pandemic. She also received recognition at the Nova Scotian Legislative House twice (2017 & 2018). She was also featured in the documentary series “Here We Are,” which airs on Eastlink Community TV.
She mentors undergraduate students and has spoken on different platforms nationally and internationally, including Dalhousie University, Saint Mary’s University, Women Sports Organization, Halifax Public Library, Women networks and leadership organizations, and International Women’s Day events. She has also hosted International Women’s Day consistently since 2018, bringing women from across the world together in one room and promoting opportunities for entrepreneurs to start and scale their businesses forward and upward.
