In celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child, Network for the Empowerment of Women Halifax is hosting a unique girls inspire girls summit on Saturday, 12 October, 2019.

The summit, which will hold at Community Room, Canada Games Center, 26 Thomas Raddall Dr. Halifax, NS B3S 0E2, will bring together young girls in Halifax who will engage in inspiring and interesting conversations about their motivation and opportunity to make a difference and create positive change.

Attendees will learn about and hear from other young girls in our community doing wonderful things. This will not only inspire and motivate them, but will boost their confidence and encourage them to step out and conquer too.

Our speakers are ordinary young girls doing extraordinary things to change the world. These are girls from our communities and school who believe in their unique ability to make an impact. Every girl if given equal opportunity can make a change; she just has to believe it.
